Natural History Museum Visits Shapwick

The Natural History Museum Darwin Tree of Life Team visited Shapwick NNR on June 9-11. This team collects specimens that are processed for whole genome DNA analysis. Experts in several fields collected and recorded specimens, with the data coming back to managers of the reserves to help with management decisions. During the visit, several new species were discovered at the site, giving a more complete picture of the biodiversity of this unique location.
